Lag is a BIG issue

There are a lot of players with seriously high ping's, we need something done about this now the game has been running for almost a year, lag causes users to teleport and i have seen guys take 2 and rounds from awm & psg and still not go down (even though blood was clearly visible no damage occured.

Can the server's not establish what a user's ping is averaging, say 175 and just disconect the lagging noob?

Please sort something out soon.

I think there should be a breakoff point, but 175 is too much to ask for a F2P FPS. Maybe 500.

Well im the stupid noob, who's played this game for almost A YEAR. And 500 is way to high, iv seen guys with 200 ping disapear then reapear 5/6 meters from their original position, also if u look at the ping when someone is using a hak the ping seems to spike when the fire the weapon (mabey just me who noticed).

You should all stop being tight and buy a decent internet connections.

The community is large enough now for a F2P FPS to be selective of its users before its users decide to leave!

Ping is not affected by connection. I have a 10Mbit connection and still get 100-150 ping.
The best way to lower your ping atm is to move to america

Well the better your connection the faster u can ping the server, i have 12mg BB and get 100 to 140 ping, i used my gf's 8mg BB and could only get 140 to 160 ping, so im currently waiting on 50Mg BB being installed, new lines n s**t so i can get a better ping,

Also if thats the case, where's the guys with 500 plus ping from, the moon cos i dont exactly live near US & Canada, n i havent seen anyone from Brazil with less than 200 ping, new servers are needed to keep high & low pings apart to keep the game reasonable!

I'm the guy with 278 ping, you think you have it tough? i never count on my awm one shotting people, i have to unload a whole clip on him.
I still have a 3 k/d because i'm awesome but you know....
get over it i think all low pingers should be kicked.

Well lets face it, we can't help what ping we get much. I don't think that there should be a break off point- lag works both ways. Lag just makes u need to shoot more, and the lower pings have the advantage of reaction time.

A possible solution could be to categorize the servers according to ping and to have a suggestion from the program where to log-in.
This requires the program to check your ping when you get connected and then to suggest you to go the proper server.
A good categorizing could be for example:
server A for ping less than 150, server B for ping less than 250, server C for ping more than 250 etc. or something like that.
I don't think that this is too difficult to be established and it can work, at least until we have a European server.

At last someone who talks sense, microsoft servers do this for for xbox live to match up users for COD so why cant Z8 do this for us. As for a EU server this would just be full of crazy turk and croatia hakers lol

i never understanad why need a different area for each server
why can't the game just automatically choose the server closest to us and use that ping

NO HAKERS...What game have u been playing? or u 1 on 1 with urself, iv saved plenty of replay's and reported most but their is too many to sit for ages reporting them all, i have a good one of a sniper scoped in moving from left to right following the player name on the replay---BOOM golden headshot, turns the other way looking at the walls then yup BOOM golden headshot and this was the whole 12 rounds, back to the topic lol:

I have a plan, bury the CF servers at the earths core so everyone has an equal ping (n ban all BR cos i have footage from 2 days ago of a guy i reported on the 2nd dec with hak which makes the legs spin (aimbotter). Also wtd is with yesterday, i was disconnected from the server several times
