Xtrap Error

So basically, yesterday, and the days before, i was playing crossfire without any problems, but after the newest patch, my game keeps crashing due to some xtrap error, its the 08-0400-00000000-000 error, not only that but also doesnt mention anything at all, theres nothing at the "Tool Name: ", only a blank space, so i can't even try to fix it myself, i've tried reinstalling, ccleaner, system restore, turning off antivirus/firewall, i've tried using malware bytes to see if i had any virus, but nope, my computer is clean, so thats why im here now asking for your help, cuz im already out of ideas

You've mentioned you've tried turning off antivirus/firewall, but have you tried adding CF folders as an exception, then reinstalling new? It sometimes helps with odd errors like this.

Hi, thanks for answering and sorry for being late, i've just tried that and its still giving me the xtrap error

Are you running any other programs at the same time? Synapse? Teamspeak? Gamebooster? Anything?

Nope, i usually have team speak, i just turned it off and its still not working, i really dont know what to do at this point

There is must likely a program which is conflicting with X-Trap. What does the error say? Screenshots?

Screenshots would help. Also some info about what Operating System you are running, what your specs are, etc. Every bit of info helps.

Can you list the programs that you have in your background? Or send me a screenshot of it via PM?

Preferably, add the list here so that everyone can lend a hand in this. If you press Ctrl+Shift+Esc, you should be able to get a list of your processes running at the time.

you mean these? i've tried turning a few of those off, such as avast, malware, teamspeak, browsers, tried launching crossfire using razer cortex, but still nothing. Im from portugal btw, thats why its in portuguese

I would suggest to close down anything to do with razer. I know a couple of people had problems with the razer software.

Also VPN services? You know they are not allowed, right? lol

That never gave me any problems before, should i just uninstall mcafee?

i dont use those for crossfire, i used them to enter some japanese sites :P, and razer cortex usually is off

You shouldn't have them running when your on CF. Close them down and it might fix your problem.

What about these programs;

1) Stereo Vision Control Panel

If that fails aswell, then the only thing I can think of is NIVIDIA. But that shouldn't affect CrossFire or X-Trap.
