This year Ukraine won the Eurovision with their song "1994" Performed by Jamala.In the last time I checked it's against the rules to sing songs which contain political content inside of them.The dark story behind the song 1994 is that the year was named the song, Stalin expelled 250.000 Tatars from Crimea,During the Second World War many Tatars were accused of collaborating with the Nazis and expelled by the Red army from their homes. They were sent to Central Asia in trucks without food or fresh air.

Eurovision has become so mainstream over the course of the past few years that when someone actually tries to be artistic and writes a song which comes with a message, not aiming for entertaining the mob, he is treated with a sudden wave of hatred and offence. The truth is, Russians had the visuals, and Ukraine had the voice. Thus, this is a well-deserved victory

It really bothers me that this 124ahmed guy gets more comments on his troll threads than me...I guess the people here are more care about insult and humiliate each other than an entire country that cheating in huge international contest in live time =/

People probably voted for Ukraine because they felt sorry for them :P It really is about politcs now and who you border with, and not talent. Pretty much lost interest in it now that UK comes more or less bottom every single year.

(P.S Totally agree with you on the 124ahem thing)
