Unable to launch CF.

Hi, my name is Carbonite, and i've been experiencing a problem where my CF won't even launch even after the Xtrap and HGW thing finishes loading. My cursor does the loading sign, but then stops and I wait about a three minutes and nothing happens. I've been trying to launch it at least 20+ times by now and it won't even launch the game. I never had this problem six days ago, and i uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and it will never launch!

Have you tried to add your CrossFire folder to the exception list of your anti-virus and firewall? If not, do this!

I have the same problem and it started happening since 2-3 days back..... I redownloaded and disabled my firewall and antivirus... Nothing seems to be working... i guess i have to wait for the next patch to come and see what happens then.

One solution that I can offer you is to close any programs which you don't need in the background. E.g. Raptr

same problem here. it doesn"t load after HGW finish.
please fix this problem. it"s very annoying.

Try to close firewall & anti virus, then try it. if it works you can do what abel09 said.

The First thing i do is to close these unwanted programs. I even disabled my antivirus and firewall to see if it runs but nothing is working. I am thinking of changing my OS to win 10 . Is CF compatible with win 10 ??

CrossFire should be compatible with every OS. I'm running on Windows 10 and it's working fine for me.
