the colour looks a bit much to me...looks like someones coloured it in with crayons...
ot: I have one of these -
and one of these -
among many others (including at least one that's far older than me...) -
I saved up for this girl for quite some time (~5 years) and she lives in nice safe which was a pain to install xD.
Additionally the paperwork to own one here in the UK is...substantial...
But I love her; and she loves me back

Nice - a Spyderco! I've heard their pretty decent blades and been interested in them for a while. What's your opinion on them - are they worth the price tag for use as a general all-purpose (like from boxes to kindling) knife?

MattHow much did you pay for that? -
~ £800.
I bought it from my local range second hand. They guy before me had barely used it; and as it's basically a re-made browning I thought it was worth the investment.
I intend to see it through, and apparently if you look after them they should do a substantial amount of shooting! :P Maybe even hand it down to my son one day...who knows! :P
I think I've probably put maybe 1k shells through her, and it's been great so far.

Nice! I've used a fair few different ones over my time, mainly Beretta's though, miss Shooting, do you do trap, skeet or sport? Yeah, English laws are mad, I have a single shot, bolt action target air pistol and a folding-stock air rifle myself, not bad, but I miss my marlin .22 rifle!
It's nice, nice weight, perfectly balanced, full tag...I sharpened the blade after I first bought it, but then I do with pretty much every knife I buy (the magnum was the only one I didn't need to - bought it in Chile from an expert knife shop...on first use I slipped and cut through my knuckle!) - used it for sheep work and never had an issue with it!~ £800.

That's not too bad! Yeah lots of people buy them just to show them off and barely use them...it's sad when you think about it!!
yeah, keep it clean, oiled and dry and it should be fine! Do you use a choke on it? And what shells do you shoot? -

Some people eventually get to a point where they simply have too many weapons to use all of them frequently, or they simply don't have the infrastructure you need for some weapons... -

Yeah, that's true too...but it's like people who buy cars...to keep them in a garage. It's upsetting!! If you're going to buy it, use it for what it was intended! -

That's like seeing someone with a sports car on the highway or freeway going under the speed limit. -

ahahaha...but you don't wanna go TOO fast...or you'll lose it or get caught...trust me, when you're in a supercar, EVERYONE notices you...Well, sometimes it's just nice to "have it".
No. If you have it, use it. it was designed and built to do something, hit targets, burn rubber, fly high, whatever...just sitting and looking at is was not what it was made for
(unless it's a painting/sculpture/other generic artwork I guess...) -

Nah some vehicles are just to special to commute in daily. Have to keep them in tip top condition. -

Never said commute in daily...but drive it on open roads/tracks...but then my Boss Drives his McLaren or Bentley or Ferrari to work pretty much every day...so you know -

Wow Berrettas Nice choice; you have a very refined taste! xD Actually; a beretta silver pigeon or maybe a 686 was the contender to the miroku - just I love the adjustable cheek comb
Umm, I mainly shoot traps at my local clay shooting range. I've done a bit of skeet but I enjoy the variety that clays offer as opposed to the reaction testing.
I generally tend to use a 1/2 choke on the top and a 3/4 on the bottom for longer shots if I need it. THB, the range I shoot at the chokes don't really matter. I generally shoot the cheapest ammo and shoot lots of it! xD I personally think it's better to practice more as I'm nowhere near the skill level where a different shell would make the difference lol. IT's usaully Hull superfasts 27g load.
Sheep work?
I suppose as long as someone never takes what they have for granted or go into excess; their enjoyment out of it can be different like preserving was suggested. My personal opinion of the things I own is generally if I have them I use them. I mainly challenge myself to get the most out of enjoying them which gives me an excuse to get a better one when they break!
