Disabling your firewall to prevent connection errors!


The Firewall is a major cause some connections errors, as well as "Connection Standby," "Errors in X-Trap", "Disconnected Host", etc.
This happens because your firewall does not allow incoming packets coming into your computer's Cross Fire server.

Example:
Connection errors:
You ask the server "Can I connect will you?", The question comes to the server and the response is made immediately, "Yes, you can connect to me!", But the Firewall prevents receiving this response, resulting in error Connection.


This may decrease the security of my computer?
Yes, you can, so it is advisable that you disable the Firewall only when will play, and when you are playing, do not use the internet browser. Once close the game, re-enable the firewall, as they are quick steps to be made.

What..?!

NEVER fully disable your firewall, even without a browser open, things still run in the background...plus without a firewall, ALL your ports are open...meaning anyone can remotely connect and have fun...

Just add exceptions into your firewall, it's simple and much more secure...

I totally agree with Natt here. Disabling your firewall is not the answer!
