Strange !!

So a week ago or something my ping was just normal around 70-80 and when its maxed it reachs 98.
i have been facing strange high ping up to 6000 and more the weird thing that when i join some games its normal ping others with that problem .
the problem seem to be in UK SERVERS only cuz i joined NA to test a theory ... my ping in NA SERVERS is 180-200 and facing no high ping like in UK SERVERS so what seems the problem ? and i checked everything installing again restiing my router closing all background apps

Z8 will just tell you that, the problem is from your side, contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider), ect..

IK those types of in-game symptoms, as myself and many others in-game (who don't even bother with forums) suffer the same issues too. Both UK and NA servers (mainly UK) seem to have a problem with connection stabilities, as at random and very often times, players get abnormal and way too high numbers of ping spikes for a few seconds.. although it will go back to normal right after that experience occurs, it's very annoying and can affect game performances and frustrate players with no doubt.

I am with VM (ISP) and I have up to 50Mbs broadband speed.. yet, I still suffer the same problems, with the game at any given time.. so, it's obvious that there's something wrong and not from my side, because I have more than enough stable speed for this game!

@ sahibinden - Just try contact Support Center, as here is not much help.. and be detailed with them, let them know, when/where/how you get these ping problems and also tell them what type of internet connection/speed you use, so they can see what it could be causing your problem. GL!

i dont think support will be good in any way as i tried to submit a ticket before , when i face a problem like that i just give up and log in every 2 days and see if it work or not .
but what bothers me that the moment i join its normal 77 ping ....... for like 10 secs then ping spikes up to 5000 i hope this end soon i have been in this game since 2009 and if i would say i played it for 5 years due this kind of errors and bugs

Why waste supports time? It is to do with the ISP.

I have a 40Mbs internet with PlusNet and I NEVER see these issues...nor do most people. Because my speeds aren't filtered or throttled.

Get a reliable internet connection and you wont see these issues. TEData seem to have throttled the tunnel for the CF Servers, resulting in these issues that EVERYONE using TEData are experiencing.

i cloudnt argue with you as its true i think but after all we only got it so maybe this means good bye for me i guess .

I am using VirginMedia, unlike most with TEData. One VM's Policy is that anyone with and above 30Mbs (I got 50Mbs), only get speed restricted (traffic managed) for an hour or +, when exceeding upload threshold (750MB) during evening times (4pm-11pm - Mon-Fri). I guess that CF gaming uses up a lot of Upload Data?

If it's that fair enough but I don't think it is..

Anyway, I hope to soon get out of VM (regardless of what's causing spikes at times) & maybe go to BT, which is more reliable.

Not sure tbh, I imagine it sends a fair bit back and forth, but never checked how much...

Yeah, plusnet is good too - basically BT with better deals and UK call centres/support, if you want help with anything let me know - I might be able to get you a decent deal with a referral...
