Auto-Translator In lobby and in-game.

I know this would probably take a lot of work but I kinda think this is a good idea considering not everyone in the NA server speaks English, this would allow people to choose between the option of leaving the other languages as they are or having a mechanic that automatically translates typed words in the chats. Yes it may be nice to get to learn other languages but sometimes and I think some people might agree sometimes you might wanna know what people are saying. Even if sometimes people type shorts in a different language it gives other people a general idea if other words are translated of what others are trying to say.

Whilst not neccesarily a bad idea...the amount of coding and extra storage space etc. that would need would be mad, unless you mean translate it live, which would increase ping massively, even translating a basic sentence in google translate takes a few seconds...

Not really live,but right click on a sentence and have the option to translate it in english.I mean dont auto translate everything automatically.

That'd be even more tricky that auto-translating everything into English...

It's not a bad idea but I think Smilegate wouldn't do this to our version in the first place since this is CFNA/UK so the main language is English. They have other versions in other countries which have a different language so players can go there. Smilegate wouldn't see the sense in having a translator when we have other versions.

Based solely on the things I've seen sent in via Google Translate since I started working here? I see this turning out poorly :P

To make things run on demand takes WAY more resources and coding than a fully automated system.
