CrossFire Launcher does not display anything!
Hello Z8Games,
I wanted to express that there is a JavaScript error after you open the CrossFire launcher. The button called "Play" still works on the CrossFire launcher however, I can't see any information relating the latest news on CrossFire.
I have tried the following trouble shooting options:

I have tried the following trouble shooting options:
- Re-installing a clean version of CrossFire.
- Updating Java Software.
- Running CrossFire as Admin.
- Running CrossFire in another compatibility (Windows 8, 7, Vista and XP).
- Checked my DirectX version and update it if required.
- Check any hardware or software that interacts with my internet connection between my computer and my Internet Service Provider (ISP).
- Scan your computer for any viruses and spyware's, and remove them.
- Close down any applications which may be running prior to launching CrossFire as these may interfere with the running of the game.
However, none of them have worked. Which makes me think that this error is on Z8Games side.

I hope Z8Games can solve this error as soon as possible. I know few other friends who are experiencing the same problem. Thank you for reading!

Already tried updating it in my internet explorer. It didn't work. The other browsers I have is Windows Edge and Chrome which both already have Java pre-installed. -

Right, I think I have fixed this problem but hopefully it is a permanent fix. I'm going to explain the steps I did here, hopefully it will work for everyone else.
1) Un-Installed Java by going to the control panel.
2) Went to my programs and deleted the Java folder.
3) I went to my 'Internet options' on Internet Explorer.
4) Went to the 'Advanced' tab and click on the 'Reset' button.
5) Now I downloaded the offline version of Java here: http://java.com/en/download/windows_offline.jsp
6) Followed the steps on the Java Installer.
7) Opened up the Java Control Panel.
8) Went to 'Security' tab.
9) In the 'Exception Site List', I added CrossFire launcher page: http://www2.z8games.com/notice/Login_big/launcherPage.asp
10) I also added CrossFire main website: http://crossfire.z8games.com/
11) Clicked on 'Apply' and then closed the Java Control panel.
12) I opened CrossFire as Admin.
And now, it has worked!!! :D:D I'm hoping after I restart my computer that it will still work. Fingers cross! -

tried updating WHAT in your internet explorer...? You have to actually update IE itself, not anything inside of it. -

The weird thing is, my IE had the latest build. So I could only re-install it.
The best solution to fix this problem is if Z8Games made the CF launcher to use the users default browser. I'm pretty sure most people don't have IE has their default browser especially after Windows Edge got introduced.
