Religion and sports
My country recently won bronze medal on european handball championship. Basicaly we had a very low chance to get into semifinals, but we had some luck and players did an amazing job against Poland so we ended up in semifinals and kicked out France. I will quote our coach after winning a game against Poland: Jesus sent the selection of France home and sent us to semifinals.
If all people are equal in front of God why would the same God like Croatians more than French people. Ofcourse older people in my country went crazy because of what our coach said.
But lots of people started making fun of him. There are people on tv who make dumb transparents like: Croatia has bronze, Jesus, Mary, God, enough for Croatia.
as an atheist I don't see any reason why would you put religion and sports into the same line. I do not have anything against people who are religios but this is just ridiculous.

Different people have different beliefs. But in the end, no one will know what the truth is. There hasn't been concrete evidence of either a God existing, or a God not existing.
Now with that being said, I do think believing in a God, and believing in a religion are 2 completely different things.
People mix religion into a lot of unnecessary places. You can even see it in crossfire itself with that Sandstorm map picture protest holy ****. In the end, I just think people need to let it be and mind their own business. If the coach believes it was God who gave them the victory, then he's free to believe that. And people are free to disagree.
Some atheists are starting to be more annoying than actual religious people just because of the way they put others down for following a religion. When I walk downtown Toronto I see people preaching the Bible on the streets but they're not really harming anyone. Then there are some *******s who just go and abuse them thinking they're cool for being atheist lol it's ridiculous -
