20 Second Crashing

After I updated Crossfire with the new patch, I cannot play at all. I can login and everything is fine, but within the span of 20 seconds Crossfire will crash without any errors. I have done a clean uninstall and have downloaded the game again, It does the same thing. I have Windows Vista. If there are any fixes for this, please let me know. I have searched the forums and haven't found a solution. I would just like to be able to play again. Thanks for your time.

what does it say in your event viewer inside of windows? There will be an error code there that should help you diagnose the problem.

I'm having the same problems as this guy, but I open up the event viewer but am unable to find the logs of the crash

I had same issue

It was resolution.

Had to play on window mode,then after a day switched back to full screen but with diffrent resolution.

What resolution do you play on?

Edit: The windowed mode isn't working, still crashing.

Yes , I have tried that. I'm using win 10 x64

And I thought I was the only one. It's kind of getting on my nerves that I cannot join specific games. Loading screen for 20 some time and then it says, loading please wait, and I am out of the game.

that might be the issue....

Windows 10 (when you get updates) makes crossfire a lil unplayable for certain people
try running crossfire in compatibilty mode

I'm actually still using Windows 7 and it might be a server issue. I could load some games in the UK servers, but not the NA.

The servers are crashing. most players are all having the same problem.

Finally fixed it , Here's the solution :
1-Open "run" from START and write "msconfig" then press OK
2-Choose Services from the bar and press "Disable all"
3-Press Ok and run cf

Notice: that might affect on your PC system.

I really wouldn't recommend disabling all services via msconfig. You're gonna run into some real issues either immediately or down the line.

Yes, You're . I just disable them to play and after i finish i enable all again.

same problem game just closes...no error window...no record of it....log in game closes...log in game closes

Im not sure what the problem was for me specifically, I just know that I tried to log back in one day and it just magically started working again.
