All I can say that at this point, both Logic and I are extremely demotivated and disappointed at this game. I feel like with its 'economic success' perhaps it could have offered a lot on the esports side. That was never true from the beginning, even when we had the best manager that this version has ever had.

I stuck with this game for so long because I had faith that this publisher and developer had interest to improve the competitive scene. Once again, very recently I was proved wrong about that.

I was on some ties with outsider organizationss regarding potential support for CFNA, but I cancelled all connections and reported back to them that it was not worth it. I also had plans to use some of my 2016 tax return money to fund a major tournament; but at this point I am definitely not willing to pay from my own wallet. This game just doesn't deserve it. In terms of PL, we are calling quits and will no longer be willing to continue to support this game. I will publish an article with all the feedback that I have received from you, Blitz, and everyone else that I have reached to. I know that I have been delaying that ever since the event ended but, I have not been really interested.

Anyways long story short, I would be happy to discuss it more in depth about my opinions if anyone would like to know - give me a shout on steam and I'll find a time to sit down and explain.

I am currently a coach for hire in Dota 2 and working as a freelance esports writer. I also play a lot of League of Legends atm. It really doesn't look like I will be playing any CF anytime soon, which is really sad because I have been around this game since 2007. Guess all good things come to an end haha.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you everyone who chose to show up for Presidential. Whether it was Presidential Cup or Presidential League; Presidential will go down in CF history for its great success. And I think this success is due to the cooperation and willingness of the players and its former hosts. I would never take full credit and would never admit that we are the best ever at hosting, but I am simply unwilling to continue doing this when this trend of **** has been hitting us since 2013 now. I've taken it up to this point and I will hereby apologize for disappointing you all. But I refuse to think that my disappointment is greater than the disappointment level that this game's management has extended to myself, Logic, and more importantly - the rest of the community.

I respect you all and wish the best of luck in your future endeavors. If you all choose to continue playing, I wish you the best of luck in competing. Thank you for making my last event ever hosted, to be a success in our personal opinions.

Thank you Fizzeq for everything you've done and good luck with future projects. Everyone at this point is starting to leave this game. The only reason people in E8 stayed is for the tournaments except for the scrim cheaters but now that tournaments are disappearing it's time for more people to call it a memory.

I actually feel the same way, that's why I lost motivation with hosting BGL. People can claim that it was unsuccessful if they want but, BGL ran for 15 cups or so and made improvements to the community, and same goes for PL, it's up to z8games now to put in the effort for their game in terms of competition. It will benefit the players and the staff.

Thanks Fizzeq it really sucks that this is how the competitive community is basically gonna die off now, PL was literally last hope. But, like you said good things come to an end. But best of luck in Dota and etc. And this is basically offical RIP to the comp. community at least till cfs, but we all know who is most likely gonna win those international events. Our only hope now is EGL for the semi-pros and for the pros they literally have nothing all of w0w and several other pro teams won't even touch the game. Best of luck to everyone.

It's always encouraging to receive all this support. Once again thank you all so very much for all the support that you have shown us. It certainly did not last long, but that will never be an obstacle in my continued realization that competitive scenes and esports will always dominate over all other components in an online game. If anyone decides to disagree, I'd really appreciate if you find and discover what CSGO/Dota/LoL/SC2/Heroes/Rocket League/GoW/HotS/WoT/Hearthstone/etc are like. There should be no surprise that games with grand esport schemes are the ones that will go on to properly be recognized and praised.

I feel remorse for discontinuing PL and I did not want to do this either but, I can only say that all of this never made sense for me really. And if you are serious about pro gaming and competing and esports as a whole, you would know what I mean.

As I move away from hosting and involvement in CrossFire, I will seek to find my place in other prime esports, mainly Dota/Statcraft at this point. Those are the games that I have been around for a very long time and will never get tired of. I'll see what I can do. Thank you for your best wishes, it means a lot to me.

I will also be at MLG Columbus for CSGO's first major in NA. I'm going with a few friends and if any of you are going then perhaps we should all tag along and have a ball at the meetups and certainly at the main event.

Thanks Fizzeq for all your work, effort and motivation you put into this game. I just wanted to say that I agree with you on most of what you said in your recent posts.
