Resolution Malfunction

Hello, I've been having troubles with the games resolution after I patched the game. I had an outdated version, so I uninstalled and reinstalled it. The problem seems to be that when I pull the game up, the screen itself is enlarged so that I can't see any of the buttons in the top-right corner — such as "Options" and even "Exit" — or the buttons on the bottom, like when prompts come up for game invites and Black Market sales. How do I fix this? I've restarted my computer a dozen times, and I have more than enough power on my laptop to run this game. My son downloaded the game at the same time I did and his game works fine. Is anyone else having this problem?

When the game starts up, do you have anything open? Usually after xtrap updates , if I open another window, then my crossfire window gets zoomed in into a corner.
  • Sup. So, uhh..

I may have a fix for ya. If you don't mind playing in windowed mode, that is.

Go to Documents/CrossFire and seek out a file called "system.dat"

Open it with an Editor of your choice.

Then change the value that i marked to a "1"

What that value does is set you to Windowed mode, so that you can actually see all the buttons. Hope it helps!
