Lol the hardest virus I have deal with so far.
If you have maleware antimaleware you need to restart your comp.As soon as it loads up you need to open maleware, even if programs are still loading. If you wait and try to click somthing it will say this file is infected.Read this and get back with me,I may have you come on my vent. -

He got it from the ads here.ANTIVIRUS LIVE.I got this twice from here. Its a bad one.Shuts down your system, any file you click on it says its infected and wont open.Puts a proxy on your server so it will not let you browse the web. -

Yeah if you don't have anything you need to keep i would just reinstall...
Otherwise, do what vaporizer said
If you have antivirus or antimalware on another computer, you could connect your laptop hard drive to THAT computer and scan it from there (I'm not sure if this would help or if it would infect both computers, ask someone before you do this, im not responsible lol) -
See if any of this information helps you at all:

I will alert the GM's about the problem again. Since we hadn't heard any more reports until recently, we assumed that the issue had been taken care of. If you want to be absolutely safe while browsing the site, use a combination of Firefox and the Adblock Plus plugin. I've been using those and haven't seen any sign of this virus.
If you need further help in removing the virus, use the link in my signature to get to the IRC chat and I'll try to help you with it. -

*Before I had this problem, I had Malwarebytes (which was my solution)
1. I restart my computer
2. I opened RIGHT before Antivirus Live started-up.
I continuously click on the Malwarebytes icon before Antivirus Live start-up, so It finally opened up, and I was in a great relief!
3. I scanned it, and removed it right away.
4. I restarted my computer and it was all gone!
And your suggestion (which I tired to do) didn't work out so well.
And I have to admit, it was one of the worst/annoying rouge-software I've ever had. I couldn't open anything, not even FireFox. And right now, I'm downloading Spybot Search&Destroy to double make sure the virus is completely removed.
One of the mistakes I've made was I didn't install any firewall....
EDIT: Luckily I had a laptop!!!! (read the article) -
Thanks for responding. Well, I tried the suggestion, it did nothing. This is what I did:

It broke my 800$ acer laptop : D
I hope that you dont have a severe case..
Anyyyways I am hoping this will be a cure to it: Restart your computer, Right before everything starts running press cntrl+alt+delete and look for a program called oldsynsguard.exe and terminate it.
If that works I will guide you on what to do next. -

I have a feeling this virus damaged my computer.... -
I acutually, I fixed it by opening MalewareBytes before the virus starts, and removed it. I also pressed ctrl+alt+del and didn't see oldsynsguard.exe at all.

But the problem is, my computer keeps freezing every 7-5 second.
Ok now download advanced system care and run reg scans and every thing. And go to start,my computer,c;Drive, windows and clear your temp and prefetch folders. This stores internet crap you dont need.
