Whats going on in C.F comp right now? Is it fully dead?

ESG - inactive
ESL - contract expired, unsure if they will renew with CFNA
Presidential League (PL - ran by good ole LOGIC and myself, he's only here to take polaroids)
EGL - semi-competitive tournament that hosts individual cups every weekend
BGL - UK league that also hosts individual cups every weekend

For PL specifically though, we just finished Season One and are looking to continue improving and providing. We have cash prizes coming up and are hoping to get more prizes for the next event. Welcome back friend, how are you doing?

Ahhh its been a while since iv seen logic, I remember when he was on my team, had some really good times together. And damn sounds like comp went downhill even more since I stopped playing, but i'm glad to see someones keeping it alive. I'm good just trying to get through life like all of use ahah. Wbu? What was or IGN if you don't mind me asking.

BGL is cancelled until further notice. It's basically the presidential league and EGL only. The Presidential league is by seasons so the competitive scene for tournaments is horrible atm.

I don't really know why I stuck around; I've had times when I just simply wanted to drop CF and move on. Probably due to motivation of some sort, but surely without Logic's suggestion of a new competitive league: I think I would have called quits already.

HWG making it happen, I remember y'all. Good times.

The only reason PL went with 12 teams was because 1) we couldn't manage to get to 16 and 2) we needed an even-balanced team count to make scheduling work. Also for a seasoned format event, it makes no sense to open up for new teams to signup. Gradually some of the teams that signed up, started not showing up, some not at all. But it was gone through either way; a good run I should say.

So yes I see the EGL success in pulling teams; hopefully that can be the transition for PL on our next major event as well, especially when we have the potential of cash prizes coming in and we'll be able to bump up even the zp and game item prize pools.

Yah true true I just dont think that the motivation is there for some teams to play in PL dunno y but that's my 2cents also MUMBLE WHERE U AT
