[Question] New player

Hello everyone,

I was just wondering if having 10 years of competitive CS experience (online and LAN) would really mean anything here.. I'm new to CF, and want to know if I should retain some of my habits from CS, or drop them altogether and start learning new.

I've noticed a big similarity in playstyles. One question, does ADADAD do anything to improve accuracy ? (spamming the A & D keys to twitch strafe) I do it out of habit, just wondering if I look like an idiot or nah?

It doesn't really do anything, but if you hold W or S and then spam A or D you'll do what's called an "Azn walk" and you won't make noise while you move (your accuracy will be negatively affected by this). Also if you have good aim and spray control from CS that'll help you a lot in CF.

I'll mess around with the movement until I get comfortable with the different techniques.

Anyway, to make it simple, no. CS experience does not inherently help with CF and could very likely make you worse. Personally I'd say stick with the cs but if you wanna play this game gl
