Suggestion - VIP guns in MM
Here's how we can please both the competitive community and the rest, in MM.
Competitive - Don't want VIP's in MM, because they don't require skill
The Rest - Want VIP's in MM because they are better guns.
Simple, make VIP's count less toward XP[or whatever it is] for a rank up.
Balance it out, make kills with regular non-vip guns worth more in terms of whatever elo system 2.0 is now running.
This will satisfy both parties, as a person who wants to use a better gun will get more kills than using a normal one, but less points, and it would balance out because people who are good would always be at the top of the ranks.
If someone is using a VIP they have to put in more effort than someone using a regular gun, so essentially the VIP person would require just as much skill to reach the top as someone without VIP guns.
The person with the VIP is still getting what they paid for, they are still using a gun better than every other, they are still getting the same kills and everything they would have, this isn't changing the gun, this isn't taking anything away from people who want to purchase a VIP and it still has the same incentive as it does previously to buy VIP guns.
This however, would be an effective way, with the new update, that we could finally balance the skill gaps that people complain about due to the overpowered weapons in comparison that are VIP's. In fact, you could make an entire ratio chart, for elo earned, for each weapon and put the worst guns at the lowest and the others at the highest creating the ultimate promotion of what the game, among many other games is intended to promote which is that skill should be rewarded, and not penalized.

I can tell you've played cf for five years just by the amount of braincells you have remaining.
