The Competitive Scene Weekly Analysis (Week 1)
Hello all, I am Spidamao from Original V. and I will give weekly review's on how well the set CF teams are doing and a watch on the new up-coming teams:
The criteria I am basing my ranking is on their reputation, high performance, and their consistancy. Keep in mind that in the future I will get up to speed with the UK teams since I am currently familiar with the NA scene.
Besides the "Big Four" teams of Carbon, now defunct teamw0w, Alphav, and Warmachine, it will be interesting to see what new team decides to step up.
1. Carbon - not much to say that everyone doesn’t already know. They are CF NA's most well known and highest performing team as they represented the U.S. in the CFS competition, reaching 2nd place.
2. Alphav - this team recently won the WCA competition and has battled during the weekly and monthly ESL competitions and have handfuls of victories.
3. Warmachine/PR1METIME - like Alphav, this team has plenty of experience and has their share of ESL victories as well.
Up-coming teams:
4. Droids - a very solid competitive team that I believe is ahead of the others below them. Lead by Luglumpy, this team has won a ESL weekly competition and has placed high on other weekly events such as other ESL competitions, 7 EGL victories, and currently run one of the most prevalent clans in the competitive scene. This team hopes to win the current Presidential League where they are the 1st seed holding the best record among the participants as they play TriX tonight.
5. Intrusive - similar to Droids, this team has piled up a ESL weekly competition victory and has won 5 EGL tournament wins. This team is rather fond of the clan server, but do scrim once the competitive server starts to see life. They too participate in the Presidential League where they have the 2nd seed holding the second best record behind Droids. They look forward to capture a Presidential League victory over the winner between wRg and EscapeArtist.
6. Burnout - This team participates regularly on weekly tournaments of EGL and ESL, but have yet to achieve a break-through moment victory. Despite this, they are growing closer and closer to these victories and hopefully their chemistry pays off as they play Alphav tonight during the Presidential League.
7. Buffs - While not as well known as the teams above them on this list, they are continually putting the time and effort to hone their skills as they are always looking for scrims to participate in. This team is the 3rd highest ranked team in the Presidential league and have a match with EscapeArtist tonight.
8. OldTimers - This team has continuously participated in EGL and has many victories under their belt (6 I believe). Hopefully they decide to participate in other tournaments to get better recognition.
9. HeXus - a fairly new team that is beginning to compete in weekly competitions and performing rather well despite being a newly developed team.
10. Trix - this team is a fairly long lasting team that comes back on and off to compete in tournaments such as Presidential league, WCA, and ESL. While not as active as the other clans, they should be a contender as they play Droids tonight for the Presidential League.

I will be focusing on individual team members and team chemistry in the up-coming weekly lists as I rushed through this somewhat fast. Constructive criticism would be much appreciated from you guys, thank you!

This is a solid composition! I remember Zzxq used to do this when the scene had way more actives and competitions going on. But nonetheless, just got to take/do what you can atm.
We wanted to do this kind of thing with Presidential League in future seasons/competitions as well. I think for the next major event that we're running, we will definitely look to emphasize on the stats and content. There honestly needs more competitive-related content that can be shared on social media, etc. and to promote the game to draw new competitive players to CrossFire.
