IGN Purge - December 9th, 2015

Attention Mercenaries,
On December 9th, 2015, there will be an IGN Purge in order to free up IGNs for active players.
On this date, we will check the last date you logged into the game. If your last login date was before January 1st, 2013, your IGN will be changed to a generic one. You will not lose your account or items; only your IGN.
If you wish to keep your IGN and have not logged on since before January 1st, 2013, all you must do is log into the game before December 9th.

So players who play actively on a daily basis don't have to do anything right? And this shouldn't affect them at all..?
Yup .SO your saying login before Dec 9th we keep our name.
ANd on the Jan 1st we lose ur name
If your last login date was before jan 1st 2013, you need to login before dec 8th in order to keep your IGN. -

Accounts that have not logged in since before January 1st, 2013 and don't log in before December 9th will have their IGNs changed to generic names.
If they return after this date, they'll have to buy an In-Game Name Change item to choose a new IGN (or just settle for the generic name they were given).

Does that mean new acc can have that name or you must have a name change?
And also how do we know when the last date they logged on was
Yes, new accounts (made after the purge) can have that name.
I don't think there is a way to know the last login date. Just guesstimate?
Edit: The clan page shows the last play date but I'm not sure if it'll go as far as 2013.. -
its the 9th of december what time today will the "purge" take place? i want to be ready
I would guess after 2.0 patch later tonight. So anyone who hasn't logged in today and hasn't logged in before Jan 1st 2013 will lose their names. So like, today is the last chance to save their names before they get removed.
