v10 invalid version error solution

I have finally found a solution
Right click on crossfire icon and 3-4 spots under run as administrator is : restore previous version
Click and restart cf
If it still shows the error
Run as administrator and restore again
It usually takes me 1 or 2 times for it to work

Or you could:

1) Uninstall CrossFire and delete the CrossFire folder.
2) Re-download CrossFire.
3) Install in to your computer.
4) Enjoy.
