Evolution 2.0 - December 10th → December 20th

Attention Mercenaries,

The face of combat has changed. A new generation of CrossFire has begun. And with it comes a large variety of changes to the game we all know and love.

In Celebration of the launch of 2.0, we're giving you all a chance to win a very, very special prize. Between December 10th to December 20th, you will need to complete a variety of tasks and prove your dedication to CrossFire. Of course we will reward you for each task that you complete.

Task #1: Login and Play for at least 30 minutes on at least 9 different days. Reward: 10 Turtle Shell Crates

Task #2: Kill 750 bots on the Legend Difficulty in Simulation TD (Sim. TD). Reward: 10 M14EBR-Taurus Crates (These crates will be distributed at the end of the event)

Task #3: Obtain the 3 new 2.0 Basic Characters (SWAT 2.0, SAS 2.0. and OMOH 2.0) Reward: Fire Goggles (7 days)

Task #4: Obtain 1000 Kills on the new 2.0 Maps (Egypt 2.0, Ship 2.0, Black Widow 2.0) Reward: 5 M200 Cheytac Crates

Task #5: Login and Play for 30 minutes on December 10th, 11th, and 12th. Reward: AK-47-Fury (3 days)

Task #6: Login and Play for 30 minutes on December 17th, 18th, and 19th. Reward: AWM-Infernal Dragon (3 days)

Task #7: Complete 30 matches in the new Ranked Match System. Reward: 5 Rose Crates

If you manage to complete all of the above we will award you with the following items.

- 7 ARES Set A crates
- 7 ARES Set B crates
- 1 CrossFire 2.0 Ribbon for your Profile Page

So get out there mercenaries, and ring in a new generation of combat. Earn your accolades.

EDIT - 12/17/2015: There has been a slight change to the rewards. The Turtle Shell Crates, AWM-Infernal Dragon, and Bot Kill and Final rewards will all be given to those that qualify during the maintenance on Monday, December 21st.

The weapon at the bottom left is G3A3 Silencer.

Expecting to have the profile page back for good or at least hope so. This question might be dumb and redundant but, is it required to buy the "3 new 2.0 Basic Characters" as separate characters from the ones already owned in-game (SAS,SAW,OMOH) ? Or merely owning the 3 of them accounts for this task ?

It'd nice if some GP guns were released alongside the update...a man can dream though.

Not a dumb question. These characters are different from the ones already in the GP shop, so you'll have to buy them "again". They should cost around the same price, but GP isn't anything nowadays.

Finally the ribbons! If I do this event I will have 40 ribbons for the shovel if its still there as a prize lol

You get the Ribbon if you complete all tasks not just the first one but you receive task 2 is reward at the end of the event. So i assume the same for Ares crates & Ribbon.but who knows ? maybe you are right. Anyway 9 or 10-12 days , doesn't matter that much.

For the Bot task, do the single player matches count? Does there need to be more than 6 people in the room? Do single player bot matches count for the 30min, as it says no records will be kept?

That task is impossible. We also have 1000 kills, plus this? Hell naw!

How can i count my sim:td kills ???? ( 650 kill)
and the 1000 kills too in 2.0 maps how can i count them ?

and if i played the 1000 kills in sim:td i will be doing that sim:td task and 1000kills too ??
