Teams will be required to check-in before the quarterfinals begin. We have not set an end time for this but will follow up with details later on. Finalize your team rosters and make any changes if necessary. Teams especially like triX or alphav that haven't been around, might need to make changes. Over the next few days we'll also deliver ingame messages to your inbox for those teams that might not check the forums on a day-day basis.

It is double elimination and the bracket pretty much paint the picture. For anyone that is confused, once again WLS/Wreckless notified me that they decided to drop out of the playoffs. In the quarterfinals they face Intrusive, and so intrusive ends up advancing to the upper bracket semi-finals.

Also one more thing, I know that Thanksgiving is on Thursday however our quarterfinals are set to happen on Saturday November 28th and possibly extended to Sunday November 29th if needed. It is Thanksgiving recess break and if teams are unable to show up, we will likely push the opening quarterfinals to start next Saturday which is December 5th.

Man I had that on notepad, and when I typed in on challonge, it randomized for some reason even though I did not select to shuffle the seeds. I knew that I had the right setup on notepad because I was thinking Intrusive advances over WLS and not BurnOut after I edited the standings to properly reflect the actual order. It's all fixed now. -

it would be great if playoffs are saturday and no double headers please. That's too much crossfire.
It's just a scenario, not confirmed atm. I just don't want to extend this into January or something because we plan to start another event that'll possibly have great cash prizes. And to play through the Christmas/late December-New Year days... well, I'm not sure if most teams would be able to. Given that this is double elimination it would take time to complete each round on the upper and lower side of the DE bracket. Also it would depend on who shows up and what matches get played. If a team just doesn't show up at all and they were one of the qualified teams, then it would be quicker to move on. For example WLS (1/8) has already dropped out so their matches are auto-forfeit.

I mean we would rather play a back to back bo3 rather than a back to back bo5. If you think about it how long it will take a 1 bo5 to finish at max. First round and 2nd round should happend the same day. I mean A5 or trix might not show up, then theres this only 1 game.
and prolly add 1 round game on this sunday since people are mostly on break. then the next few weeks we will have a great flexible schedule. -

That would require team WRG (assuming we win, which we will btw) to play a bo3 followed by a bo5 which already sounds exhausting. ...so, I think not. -

Just a note round two will not be bo5 due to it being a DE formatted bracket. The second round would be bo5 in a single elimination bracket but double elimination was the favored format. If we are following the challonge bracket, the semifinals is actually round three on the upper side. So the second round is still bo3.
Logic and I just discussed it over and we finalized a fair roster. Even though it is double elimination, it's one with eight teams where clumped up days is only this week and next week. After that, the bracket is very easy to continue with even though the final two weeks will be bo5 matches.
Also for everyone, check your in-game storage for armor. If anyone is missing armor, let me know asap. The system they hand out armor with doesn't recognize name changes and I only submit what I have.
EDIT: Yes I think we will have upper ROUND 2 played tomorrow since it looks like teams will be showing up. We were just done going over that. Also lower bracket ROUND 1 for tomorrow as well. -

We are doing round 1 and 2 on the upper bracket today. All BO3's; just the winners of the four quarterfinals will advance to play in the second round on the upper side of the bracket.
Also for the losers of the semifinals, the first round of the lower bracket will be played. So that means whoever loses in E-rekt vs trix and BurnOut vs alphav will play each other. And whoever loses in wrG vs EscapeArtist will get the free win vs WLS on the lower bracket because they've dropped out and naturally will be eliminated from the playoffs.

From what I know, two of the players on wrG was afk for the majority of game three. Nevertheless, I reckon it was a hard-fought bo3. No need to flame. :>So do we play Intrusive tomorrow or next week ?
Next week we will have the semi-finals for the upper bracket: E-rekt vs Intrusive at 7 PM EST and we'll most likely have that streamed.

I'm only saying that it's okay to have ambition. Besides, Drafters' post was not specifically offensive-targeting so I don't think that he deserves any negativity. Both teams played a great series and that's in the past now. :>

So next week its E-Rekt vs Intrusive in the Semi's which is a bo5 , and it is EA vs Trix and Burnout vs wRg in bo3's?
Are the Semi's for the lower bracket going to be played too , since its only bo3's. The winner between the winner of Bracket L and M will play the loser of E-Rekt vs Intrusive and whoever loses is 3rd place correct?

Yes E-rekt vs Intrusive will be a bo5. We will have the lower bracket rounds 2 and 3 played as well next Saturday. Lower bracket round 2 is a bo3 and round 3 is a bo5.
EA vs trix and Burnout vs wrG are both bo3's, to be played next week. The winners of those two matches go on to play each other in the lower bracket third round in a bo5. The winner of THAT match goes on to play the loser of E-rekt vs Intrusive on December 12th in the semi-final (aka the lower bracket final). That match will also be a bo5
We may possibly adjust the timing for the lower bracket semi-final and the upper bracket final between the winner of E-rekt vs Intrusive, and the winner of the entire lower brackets. Details on that soon. -
