Failed to connect to server

Having trouble loading the game. AT the login page it says "failed to connect to server" and the game shuts down. Is there some unmentioned maintenance or something? I didn't see any. Hopefully this is not only affecting me. I'd appreciate an actual response.

yes there is a maintainence "that is scheduled"
