Make [MOD]'s useful...

MOD's are pretty much boring users with more powers, make them have something to do other than watch over the forum...

Here's an idea, how about MOD's post screenshots of the new content & weapons we get every big update?

Like for the December Update, the MOD's should post a screenshot of them in game testing the new weapons about a week before the update is released or something.

Just give them something better and more fun to do. :)

That is our primary task. Without say, simply do. The GMs focus is primarily on the aspect of the game when moderators are able to actually moderate here.

Simrock does that from time to time, almost every month. The GMs also contribute by adding on to posting of spoilers, etc.

We don't get all (any at all I should say, unless we buy/win it) of the content on our personal accounts. We have no access to GM accounts and the database.

Speaking of the database, CF*Database has work with reviewing and showing off new content. The GM streams every week has been doing pretty well at showing off the latest content from each update.

CF*Database is also in the process of recruiting a new patch showoff editor that will be responsible for production of all the latest content as they arrive.

To be frank, the most out of being a moderator is primarily in being able to moderate these forums. Reiterating, it is the main task of a forum moderator. MOST of us are very busy on a day to day basis and can hardly find time, even on the weekends. Let alone actually logging into the game and playing, lol.

Ask Simrock to post better screenshots and information about the Weapons and Content. :D

Like Fizzeq said, MOD's don't really have an early access to the new content. They have to wait for spoilers, just like us.

    Well they need to.

We get spoilers, here and there, but It won't be fun if we know all what we're getting - or else the MOD's would be doing the same exact work CF*Database is doing.

    No we don't, period. lol

Like I said, we need to see more of the content about a week early, CF*Database reviews the content after.
  • Your suggestion is getting nowhere..

If you wish to make a suggestion make a neatly displayed one.

you never know it might attract a GM ;)
  • is this not, just like fizzeq said, the job of CF*Database? then why should MOD's be able to do such things? or am i wrong?
  • you are right that is the purpose of CFDB is to Showoff new Content!
