This is what was planned to be the Seattle lan months ago to determine the final 2 teams that go to China (4 teams total). They didn't really tell us anything until a couple days ago
It's definitely been a 10/10 event -

whos was the admin, howd pain break the rules -

ESL is top notch with events for every other game other than CrossFire.
WCA has been relatively successful with their events for every other game other than CrossFire.
I see a trend there yo. -

It's not pains fault since they don't have these leagues, but we did like 80 dmg to one of them and then they left. The admin told us to playout for now (it was 1 am), but then after the match he told us the dispute was void because we played out. He told us that it doesn't matter what the rules are because he has the power to change them, which is technically true but definitely not a characteristic of a good admin. The game ended 9-9, which if we won that dispute would've been 10-8. There were also a couple other rules that he either enforced or didn't enforce depending on the team.
It was 2 matches with the winner of each going to China as well as $10k, and the admin (who's never even played cf before and doesn't know any rules) influenced the results pretty heavilyyo do u know the answer, for the teams the played today in wca were they supposed to have 3/5 players from original roster
Yes, that was a rule and we were forced to play with a certain roster to meet that requirement. Certain other teams knowingly didn't abide by this and the admin was informed about it, but he didn't do anything.
If you wanna pm me feel free, but they'll threaten to revoke my prize money if I keep posting /// -

No I don't actually and I don't even know who was running it. It probably wasn't anyone from Z8Games either. I just think it's dumb that ESL and WCA have consistently tried to send people who have never played the game, to attempt to admin over their events. That's pretty corrupt and it never happened in their other games by the way; Dota2, Heroes, Hearthstone, LoL, CSGO, etc etc. Really scumbag including the cancellation of the LAN that was supposed to happen at Pax earlier in the summer. -

yea it was dumb for cancelling pax, after that many teams split or traded, u shoudlve ran it -
I told Logic that I would go to pax if WCA sent him there. When he ended up not going I didn't see the point of suddenly purchasing tickets and driving cross-country to Seattle, lol.
I just think that LAN cancellations are stupid especially from 'professional' orgs who like I said, have absolutely no problem with their other games. It's funny to observe how neglecting they are with CrossFire. I can only wonder how the partnership with Smilegate must be. -

The entire WCA at pax was cancelled. Not just Crossfire -
That's true but specifically for CrossFire, LAN hosting frequency is next to none in NA. Heroes has its own tournaments yes, so does Hearthstone and Dota 2 so they won't really care if the live event gets cancelled. Based on online stats very few teams/people actually signed up to play WCA; there were plenty of other events that they could go for in their respective games. Not at all the case for CF atm is my point. A premier organizer decides to rip a big event from CF that could have potentially gained decent attention, that still angers me.
