Failed to download version ini

V6 patcher failed to download version ini. Ive tried uninstalling it everything nothing has worked for me at all.

You have to uninstall, then delete the entire crossfire folder from inside program files, restart your computer, re-download the latest installer from the website, right click and "run as admin" - hopefully that will work!

i have same problem.
what i try :
reinstall CFNA 3x not working same problem again , i try also in another 2 pc thesame problem . please help us .
i dont play since 4 month already because of this error.

Firstly I've removed the information that we do not need and you should not give out on a public forum..

When you say reinstall, what is the EXACT process you go through?

Failed to download version.ini

uninstall cfna in control panel and deleting cfna folder in my Drive c: ,,, delete also all history in my pc . using ccleaner ,prefetch,,, %temp%.... command and restart the desktop. after download again in z8games official website and install in my pc . and again the same problem.

I have the same problem I'm gonna try doing the steps uninstall cfna then delete all files related to cfna then restart my laptop and re-download cfna and run as admin

tried it and still have the same error D; cant play this now every time i open the game and press play it says run this i run it then the there is this popup title Crossfire patcher v6 then it says 'Failed to download.ini then i went to the file location and and searched patcher_cf and found it and then double click it then the same run it thing happens i click allow then its said cannot load up url.

1) Delete "version.ini".
2) Create a new notepad file in the CrossFire folder.
3) Copy and paste the below:

[VERSION]
LatestVersion = 1235
MinimalVersion= 1164
OwnVersion = 11


[DOWNLOAD]
server1 = http://cfpatch.z8games.com/download/


[SERVER]
COUNT = 1
IP1 =67.210.208.133
PORT1 =13008


[HGW]
PORT=16666
SERVER1=67.210.208.161
SERVER2=67.210.208.163
POD1=50
POD2=50

4) Save the file and name it "version.ini"
5) Save the file as "All Files".
6) Start CrossFire as Admin.

Hopefully, that will work!
