File not found while loading into a match

Hello I played Crossfire from 2010-2013, I just decided I would download the game again and play, so I did. After I downloaded the game I tried to get into a match, when I tried to load into the game it told me file not found. I closed the game ran it in admin, tried to join another match. It said Error. Eventually I ended up uninstalling it to reinstall it. Tried to join a game and it said, file not found. I don't know what to do, maybe its the type of laptop I'm running off of, but someone please help. Thank you

Is there a particular map that caused that error? You also mentioned that you closed the game and ran it as admin and got an error when joining another match, was it the same error of file not found?

Might help to do a clean un-installation first (delete z8games folder at wherever you installed it at) before installing again.
