Error !! [ File has Changed ]

While starting the game I keep getting this error all of a sudden if there's any fix please let me know ?

I was literally just about to make a thread on this. I too have the same issue and it's only started this morning. I'm not sure if this relates to the maintenance or if it's still underway. However I really do not wish to reinstall the game again. Any clues on why or how to get rid of this?

Ahh great... I've found a thread on how to fix this and It's the last thing I wanted.. What I find weird is that this has happened all of a sudden.. I've had no problems at all in the past with this only now.. Blehh Here is the fix...

FILE IS CHANGED W[2007] L[0] and other File Changed/Forged Errors

- Uninstall the game completely
- Disable your antivirus' realtime protection
- Redownload the game
- Install the game
- Add the entire crossfire folder to your antivirus exceptions
- Re-enable realtime protection

If you downloaded the game with your antivirus active, it may be 'cleaning' the rez file upon download.

[UPDATE]

So I've followed the exact steps shown and nothing has changed. I'm guessing this might actually have something to do with the maintenance so i'm just going to wait out for any more responses.

Any proper solution to this problem yet? I don't wanna redownload the whole game and get the error and be disappointed.
This error happened all of a sudden please give us a fix.
Been waiting to play eagerly it's been 2 days already.
