3rd Place CFS

Can I get an explanation from one of the GMs about how this tournament works. Why were we forced to play a 3rd place match when we lost in the Loser bracket finals? Why would a team be able to compete after they've already been knocked out? WHY WHY WHY?

Doesn't make much sense why there was a 3rd/4th place match in my opinion. I would think Alpha 5 would just automatically get 3rd after losing to WAAR in the lower bracket. That's generally how double elimination works.

this is how it worked last year.

May make more sense this way, however it's been in post(s) for months now. Complaints about this shouldn't be made once a team loses but rather when it's announced

Nobody wanted to play before it even started. It shouldn't have been played. Now that they beat us doesn't it make sense for them to play for 2nd and then 1st since they didn't get their 3rd loss? Logic not even once

Give them time, I'm still waiting for my third finals rm approval since the tournament is apparently triple elimination.
