Oh hello there.


How to make your avatar transparent

So i see you want to make your avatar transparent


Note***

Your avatar is the picture everyone sees when you post something on the forums.

Your profile picture is the picture that people see when they click on your profile which leads them to your personal page.

well its simple.


All you need to do is make your desired picture fit the guide lines
of being at MOST 100x100 and 19.5kb in size.

Below i have posted the steps in detail on how to
upload/resize/what websites/guidlines etc.

Step 1: Choose a transparent picture

You will be able to tell if your picture has these squares on the background.





There are also website and programs that can get rid of your background for you.

Examples:

Photoshop
https://clippingmagic.com/



Step 2: Log in on the forums



Step 3: Click User CP > Control Panel > Settings and Options> Edit Avatar


It should then bring you to this page





Step 4: Choose an image from your desktop or put in a link.

********** YOU MUST MAKE SURE IT IS AT MOST ************
********100x100 and 19.5kb in size********
*********or else TRANSPARENCY will not work!*********

If your decided image is too large or too small use: http://www.picresize.com/#


Select Custom Size and type in 100 pixels in the width box. The website will automatically put in your height in order to keep the ratio of the picture.




If your picture is too big then type in 19.5 in the max size box.




Step 5: Save your photo to your desktop.



Step 6:Choose your new photo and upload it to your forum account.

If you have followed all these steps you should have a transparent avatar now.
