I was wondering if this game is worth downloading. Looks like a fun game and I love FPS military games (mainly ones with tactics like CS). I play Counter Strike/ Counter Strike Global Offensive, and this game looks like Counter Strike 1.6. I'm looking or a new competitive game to get into. (Maybe someone can show me the ropes). But I want to know if it is worth downloading and trying to get into the competitive scene. CSGO is fun but hard to get into the competitive scene. Let me know!

Well, I'm kind of looking to an answer to this too. Before, there used to be a ton of lobbies with hackers, but you can easily find lobbies without them (1-2 years ago) if you searched. Since it is a free game, banning them isnt as impactful as a VAC in csgo since they donot need to buy the game again.

I dont know how much that situation improved

There are a lot more fun game modes in CF than CSGO.

My comp crashes a lot with csgo which makes it annoying cuz i get CC for no reason, just cuz my comp cant handle the unoptimized game.

It is somewhat pay2win, but you only get a slight (like 1% advantage) by paying vs a non-paying player, which can be far outclassed by just skill alone.

Since ive been having trouble with CSGO ive been looking for posts like yours to try to understand the game's current state
