Banning deVote
Where's the proof? So far I haven't seen anyone in this community busting deVote. All the bust people try to make are all awful.ESG thinks their anti cheat so good. Please tell me why deVote got banned.Don't give me no BS about how you can't give it out or deVote cheats to cover up what you just done.Oh yeah,I heard that ESG ban " SheepBacon " for no reason just to prove that their anti cheat works. There's no help what so ever too.I ask on the forums on how to fix the anti cheat and you clearly ignored me.Maybe on purpose, maybe didn't even care about the tournament.Anyways,If anyone can prove to me that deVote cheats then I would be really happy that you finally found a bust.ESG,that goes for you too,ESG is a joke, full of BS,and has a bad anti cheat.MOD's,Please don't delete this. This is a very important matter.ESG is running CFS and they are being unfair.

Please post the thread where I said I wouldn't upload something?
EDIT:WHO ARE YOU? -
We are being unfair by catching people who cheat? We have not banned one person who wasn't actually cheating. In what world would it be beneficial to us to randomly ban people? Knowing all they would do is talk crap about it afterwards.
Do not open up another thread about it. If you have an issue, take it up with ESG in private. -
I never give out the logs or proof of how we caught somebody cheating. This comes up each time somebody gets banned. You don't get proof. There is no anticheat that gives out the data from their client.
VAC: No
Xtrap: No

Punkbuster: No
ESL Wire: No
ESEA: No
See a pattern?
I did respond to your thread, asking you for the specific error and you couldn't even give me that. I'm not going to come into your mumble and hold your hand for you. By the way, judging by what you did give me, it seems like you didn't have a Microsoft Visual C++ dependency installed, which is outlined in the download of the client. I also provide a download for you. A simple google search would have told you what the error was. I can only provide support for errors within the client. Visual C++ runtimes not being installed are a part of Windows, and are not a part of the client. All non standard libraries are covered with specific errors which help me pinpoint your exact issue and provide support.
I've also said it before, providing evidence does nothing to help ESG, but can only hurt it. You don't understand what the client logs say, neither will 99% of this community. The 1% who do understand it, could take that information and use it to bypass that particular detection vector, which is the opposite of what we want.
People choose to play at ESG because of our anti-cheat, because, as you can tell, they don't play there because they like me.
Let's go through a scenario which has come up several times this event. The player michaeldrk, who many people think cheat, gets disputed often.
In each dispute, I review the logs that come back from the client. If I was issuing false bans, wouldn't michaeldrk be banned from ESG?
Malte had a very good game today(I didn't see it, but I heard about it), I was told he was being disputed. Is malte banned for cheating?
No, neither of those players are banned, because they were not caught cheating. Your team lost your match, me banning you did not affect the outcome of the match. But after the match had started, 3 players from devote stopped their clients, and then restarted them.
I'll give you a tip, when you run the ESG anti-cheat executable, it serves as a GUI, and handles the creation of a session from you to the server. It then loads a driver. That driver does everything for the ESG scans. When the client is closed, the driver stays running for 5 minutes, paused waiting for the client to reopen. If no client is reopened, the driver will gracefully unload itself. If the client is reopened, the driver must get the new session information from the client, and it will run additional scans to see what happened during that time period.
During that time period, your team loaded cheats. The driver saw that. I can see when a new process is spawned, I can see when threads are created, when a file is loaded into memory, and I can see when a program opens a handle to either the client or the game. All of these methods help me determine when a cheat is running.
I can see when injected cheats place hooks in crossfire, and I can tell you what they hooked, and I have a list of addresses that updates each time crossfire updates. These addresses are used by cheats to read player information, world information, etc. I can check to see what module is accessing this memory. I can then run signature scans on memory to find known cheats. Having skype open won't trigger a detection, having the internet open on a game cheating website won't trigger a detection. Even having a cheat on your hard drive won't trigger a detection. But as soon as that cheat is loaded into memory, you trigger a detection.
Bottom line, is that one of the above methods caught your team. And that's the most information you will ever see about how the ESG client, or any anti-cheat in general works.
