@ legendblue

you people at z8 don't even ban people for cheating

theres countless valid bust videos out there and those players are still playing today cause you play this game like a silver plays csgo so cant tell whos legit or not unless they're running through the map like some egy rage cheating

you remove the bust video then tell people to send them in with a ticket and they never get resolved and/or never find the result of the person's cheating ingame

I hardly play this game anymore so i thought i just put it out there

imo and in many other's opinions you cant host a game if your lives depended on it, hence why everyones quitting and moving on

just wanted to point that out

oh and btw the fact that you guys think people are gunna spend their time making tickets trying to report cheaters for a game that doesn't even have a host that maintains the game properly makes me want to laugh hysterically

  • +1, can confirm Z8 staff are complete morons.

Reported countless aimboters/glitchers with VIPS, nothing.... People BLATANTLY 360ing in replays, "not enough proof".

Only people they ban are people who post nudes on forums ;(
  • there was this one mod who said something about banning 15k people a month for cheating and I died of laughter.

yeah good job on banning the randies who download the game and play it once, there's not even 5k active players on this game period\

btw they don't ban those vip cheaters cause that's where the moneys at and this game is at its end ready to cash out within the next 2 years
the only thing keeping this game from dying are the zp users and half of them cheat
  • I feel you no point of wasting time on even trying to report or bust hackers because the outcome is little to nothing even if they get shamed in the e8 community most will come back under a new alias. Just a waste of time trying to get them caught.
  • GG i busted legendblue and still i have to send in a support ticket what is this.
  • I have little doubt that a lot of hackers were banned in 2013 and 2014, and yes the 15K measure was supported by the feedback of players. It was a client and server sided new AC that practically rendered all hacks useless and auto-banned off a ton of user accounts. That was fact, and the block development was the primary reason this game saw few hackers in pubs all the same... for almost a year now. Only recently have I actually spotted them in a few games.

On the competitive end of hacking, I've mentioned it to Z8 from time to time. Actually we had a meeting earlier and this was stressed. [MOD]Andrew, Iceman, Polleus, and myself, discussed the should-be priority of maintaining a cleaning playing field. If E8 and other competitors that cheated, and have not been banned, then that's a shame. I hate hackers to the bitter end, I despise their decision to infest the game and ruin the experience for others. I know all of that. But really it's not up to me; I'm just a forum moderator. And yes I will ban users trolling with explicit content on these forums. That's what I'm assigned to do.

So if hackers are not getting banned even after constant encouragement, then I do surrender my hands up at this inability of happen. I'm referring to competitive hackers, that is; players cheating/attempting to cheat in tournaments, etc. They could definitely do better with hacking report though.

No anticheat can stop every intrusion attempt. People will try to find exploits. Therefore efforts should be aimed at alternatives. A solution I can foresee working is for leagues to work closely with Z8 to flag and constantly keep the flow of information going in terms of bypasses/violation. That's not really up to me either, as awkward as that sounds.

bust videos should be allowed to be posted on the forums and the result of the person cheating should be public, irrelevant whether it starts a troll war or not.
it informs the community and lets people know the truth

We will look to discuss this specifically for the competitive boards.
