CF and private servers?

Hello.

My friends are playing different Verisons. (Private servers. IDK but i won't say it name) .


Is that by smilegate?
Is that legal?
Am i able to play them?
What's the difference between it and cfna?
I have never played it. But what will happen to my friends who play it?

tl'dr answers:

- Not developed by Smilegate
- Illegal
- Playable, but not recommended
- It's unofficial, probably contains "holes" and plenty of corruption. Not very enjoyable to play on, catch a "private" server as its name states.
- Might be nothing, might get keylogged, system failure, corruption, etc.

You'll discover how unenjoyable it is when the keylogger that's part of the client download steals your CF account, then after you recover it without wiping your computer it'll steal your registered email and all the info necessary to recover the account. The most you could do at that point would be to continue trying to recover the account to the point that the support team sees the account is fully compromised and just perma-bans it, that way whomever stole it doesn't get to use it either.

Yes it's very enjoyable and they give millions of zp too. I suggest you to go with your inner feeling a*mad and give it a try, who knows they might accept all your suggestions and make you the president of their parliament?
