[FIX] File is Changed / Version.ini
So many people are posting the same issue so I figured I'd give a quick solution.
If you've already tried this, make sure you also did the last 3 lines ^.-
If this didn't work for you try to post identical errors here.
You'll probably get more help than posting yet another thread about it
Hope this works for some of you guys.
Edit to make mods happy: Please also check the Common Solutions thread. Bare in mind this fix is different than the one there, and Z8 has to insist that you reinstall and don't monkey with their files
If you've already tried this, make sure you also did the last 3 lines ^.-
- Go to root installation folder -right click Crossfire, open file location.
- Move "version.ini" to Desktop and edit with notepad.
- Change LatestVersion = 12XX to LatestVersion = 1213 and save.
- Right click "version.ini" and click Properties.
- Tick Read Only.
- Move back to root installation folder!
If this didn't work for you try to post identical errors here.
