compatability

hey, i was just wondering if better compatability with windows 7 was being worked on or not. i used to have a really nice ping, usually about 60 or 70. now after getting windows 7 it's always in the 200's or more. so, yea, was just curious if anyone knew if they were working on that or not.

Windows 7 compatibility should not change your ping . Have you noticed any ping differences in any other games? And have you installed drivers for your new operating system for the ethernet devices?

heh, well, to be honest, i'm not even technologically smart to even know what a driver is. (or was rather, had to and did look it up) so next time it's reasonable for me to find a driver that fits this os i'll try that and see if anything changes. thanks.

No problem. If your having trouble figuring out what you need driverwise, try downloading cpu-z, and going to the motherboard tab, and using that to find drivers for your motherboard

But it does.
I've Vista in my computer and I've got 130 ping, and at Windows 7 I've got 200-250.

yes they are working on the problem i have put win7 64bit on my pc and i can not get full screen or get in games room there is a bug in crossfire that is not compatible with win7 64bit all us win7 guys will just have to wait for a patch

ok, i'm just looking into this, i downloaded the cpu-z thing or whatever it was, and now i don't know what to do. i don't know what kind of driver i need, like catalyst or chip driver or whatever. nor do i know where to find one...yea...
