Crossfire's coming in like a virus
No offense, z8games, but I blame it on you.
Crossfire used to be my FAVOURIITE FPS. I loved it! Since I got a Headset, I'm thinking of playing on XFire with other players, but somehow now I cannot even run the install.exe Whenever I do, explorer.exe crashes, and I can't click on anything else, and even my desktop with no windows crash. And whenever I try deleting the executable, it says I have no rights. I'm on an administrative account!! I had to go to Owner to delete it.
When I do get a chance to launch install.exe, though, nothing pops up. It shows the exe in Task Manager, but nothing shows.
It is like a virus. Crashes my computer and is hard to delete. I've tried EVERY mirror, from the official ones to Brothersoft/Download.com to even torrenting, but it's still the same thing.
Long ago, it used to install perfectly, same computer, but on subagames.
Oh, how I miss subagames
Anyways, system specs

1.7GB RAM
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition, 32-bit (Build Service Pack 26002)

It was because I got crossfire setup using Mozilla Firefox. Try deleting crossfire setup and uninstall files if you have. Then get Crossfire from internet explore.
