What do you guys do for a living?

As a guy who's 17 and been thinking about future career's a lot lately, I wonder what Crossfire players do for a living, especially one's who have spent a lot of $ on ZP.

I'm considering either going into computer science or a finance/accounting degree.

  • I used to play video games for a living! Starcraft 2 mainly; where even 13 year olds could compete haha. I did that for awhile, for when I lived in Korea and in the American scene when it was once far more enthusiastic than now. But that has temporarily terminated for now.

I'm currently involved in a carpentry chapter program at Northeastern and also I do welder engineering. It's a lot of fun; we do a variety of creations and tasks for local clients. Hoping to open up my own convention shop in the future. But I do have gaming, eSports careers in mind. Those that are close friends with me do know that in a few years (perhaps after graduation) I'd like to move to California and start up my own organization, or at least find a cooperation to broaden eSports and the games I play.
  • Computer Science is a safe bet, so many jobs available and there also will be in that area. Just about to start my fourth and final year doing a CS course and really enjoyed it!
  • I do nothing atm. I have to finish my college by doing one final exam and couple courses, after that I'll go to army as it is mandatory and after that I'm most likely going to apply to a boarder guard school and get a job from the boarder
  • i play video games for a living(?)
crossfire makes me a few thousand dollars a year, that's my spending money
this past year was my last year of highschool, dont really need a job in highschool
starting college soon, full ride to private college in chicago, dont really need a job
majoring in computer science and networking, was considering getting a degree in accounting as well

realistically speaking i dont think you will live too fun of a life if you go into accounting, at least the computer world will be forever-changing, but both are very viable/profitable options
  • I'm working at chocolate factory.(currently)

but I get used to change my job every 1-2 weeks (I have serious issues with perseverance)
  • I'm studying computer engineering and programming at university, so I can't do anything big, but since my scholarship covers my life expenses and tuition I can save up all my other incomes (from which I burn a rather big part on CF).

This summer I am/was working at festivals. Underling work, but it pays really well.

Other than that I'm a security guard at a chemical warehouse as a part-time job. I'm only doing 2-3 shifts (usually 24 hours at a time) a month. Doesn't pay much, but enough.
  • Initially i'm an admin, MCSE. But i like to compare my job with the models, from a certain age you start to be less sexy for companies here because a little too experienced lol

So, i pass my time on solidworks for an industrial project and i help in the same time a friend to create news eliquids flavors for his company. CF is my little "coffee pause" between chemistry formulas and mechanical concepts. When i can launch it !

edit : i'm not specifically rich, like a lot of admins i've known in my carreer ^^ If it can help lol
