"Failed to download patch file."

So I opened crossfire yesterday and ran it as administrator and this error message showed up. I uninstalled the game and re-installed it; however, that didn't solve the issue. PLEASE HELP.

"Failed to download patch file." and "Failed to load url of version.ini."

Yeah I and many other players are experiencing this issue and the steps CF gave me, didn't help at all also...So I am just gonna wait for the next patch and MAYBE that will help.
