I don't know, sorry.Can anyone help me with this?
I've uninstalled it, restarted my PC to fix this problem, but every time I open it, to update it it keeps saying that.

Having the same problem, have yet to hear anything from them. It's a bad habit of theirs, they break the game, then disappear. I just don't get it. They mess up like every time with patches, but can't at least keep contact with the community while trying to fix the problem. -

my clan leader, Michael told me what to do. But can you tell me where to find xTrap? I'm at Program file (x86) Crossfire and I can't find it.
What did he tell you to do? As for finding the xTrap folder go to local disc then to program files then to z8games then to crossfire should be right under "rez" folder. -

Running the patcher manually from the CF folder makes no difference in this case, I also tried running it as administrator and that made no difference. I have all programs associated with CF allowed fully through my firewall and even tried turning my firewall off and it made no difference. You just have to keep trying it until it eventually patches, it's almost like the patch server is limiting traffic and you just have to wait until a free spot opens up. It worked for me at like 4am server time this morning and it took forever to finally work, the servers are packed right now so all I can say is good luck if it's indeed due to server traffic.
It's not even a big patch, it took like five seconds and all I recall seeing patched were some web banner images for the current events. -

My clan leader told me to delete it, and try a couple of time to run cf and it'll work.
Oh, hmmm I'll have to try it. Also that's weird, there should be 6 folders, how many do you have? -

Didn't even get a chance to try it, I tried launching CF one more time, and it actually worked this time. I don't know if they fixed it or it just so happened to work for me this time.
