Client file corruption detected, closing client!

Hey, I've recently bought a new lap top and I copied CF from my old PC.

After the hgw checks for hacks/do whatever it does, the client starts up and then an error pops up saying "Client file corruption detected, closing client!", am I missing any important thing to install? directx 11 is already installed.

What I tried and the error still occurs:

• Disabling firewall.
• Changing the resolution to 1024.
• Re installing CF.
• Running CF as administrator
• Downloading netframework even though I didn't see this requirement in the download page.
• Setting hardware acceleration to full, and restarted my pc afterwards to ensure that the changes will be applied.
• Installed directx 9.0c, 11. (11 Was already installed)
• Updated my drivers
• Installed DirectX SDK

What I didn't try:

• Disabling antivirus, I don't have an antivirus.
  

PS: I'm using win 7 ultimate.

Try to re-download the CF setup file. Sometimes, there can be missing or corrupt fragments of that big setup file....
Download it again and compare the file size of both old and the new setup. Then you can see if it was a download error last time...

Install CF on a other folder than before. Try these 2 steps and give us a update of the results

Thank you for your suggestion. I will re download CF now n retry. I will inform you with the result asap, check this thread back soon!

Well, they now take all servers offline for few hours....
You can't really try it because of that

But yeah, I can say as my own experience, that the setup downloader is the biggest bull*****..... I got 3 different setup files at the same day, when I had the same issue

What if I already have CF setup file? it is 1.88GB and my net speed kinda sucks, takes me 4~5 hours to re-download CF xD.

I guess I could determine where exactly is the issue.

I had no graphic/video drivers installed since I use a brand new lap top, and thus some games were not functioning properly such as CF, windows games n etc.
I'm downloading my graphic/video driver atm, gonna post the result here in an hour or so.
