That doesnt mean Smilegate cant take it down. Many illegal versions have been taken down already even when they are in a country that doesnt support copyright laws.

Very true, but that doesn't mean its easy/fast. Communicating with governments (especially central governments with lax laws) is very hard.

Thats why so many pirating website such as the Piratebay is located in Sweden where there are few laws on copyrighting.

Yes, it can be taken down, but whats to stop them from making a new one :O.

This will be dealt with (probably shut down). I wouldn't try it out, since "unofficial versions" are made by random people and a lot of them are just keyloggers (why would anyone take a lot of time to make a game, even a copy, if it isn't to make money easily).
