Im trying to get the Ghost logo from the picture.

I need to enlarge it, and Enhance the colors, and fix the missing portion on the bottom right of the circle.

Any help is appreciated !

Problems i encountered

-When i opened the image in PS it enhanced the character and faded the Ghost logo.

-I dont know how to fill the Logo with brighter colors

-I dont know how to Fix the missing edge of the circle

  • Fixing the missing portion:
Looks like you already found out how from your profile picture, but you can use the symmetry of the circle and reflect the left half of the circle.

    Enhancing colour:
Are you trying to keep the transparency? Just play around with the brightness/contrast.

    Enlarging:
This is pretty easy to do in Photoshop. Just Google it if you're having trouble.

Without transparency @ 100% original size and a bit of touching up

Without transparency @ 200% bilinear resize and a bit of touching up

With transparency @ 200% bilinear resize and 50 brightness and 100 contrast

So do you know how i could add detail to it? Maybe like make the gold reallllly shinny :D and the red dark and menacing? Or even 3D?

Kinda like the COD 10th prestige emblem from MW2

As you can see my brightness is completely up but for some reason the transparency background is blocking my view of the picture. Is there some way to get rid of that? ( i still want the background to be transparent)

    *im using PS CC 2015

Ps do u like the blue or the red better ? :D

I've never tried this myself, but from my limited experience of using 3DS Max, yes it is possible. What you'll need is a 3D modelling program such as Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, or 3DS Max. The only program that I've used out of the mentioned list is 3DS Max. I found 3DS Max to be a great program for a beginner like me because they have great tutorials on their website that literally spoon-feed you every step. For the other programs in the mentioned list, you'll need someone else with more experience. Cinema 4D is pretty popular amongst CF film-makers by the looks of it so you might be able to get someone's opinion on it on these forums.

As a quick overview of what you'll be doing in that 3D modelling program, you'll have to first create the shape of your object, then you'll need to project the image on the shape, and finally in order to create a gold and shiny appearance you'll need to adjust the lighting and the texture of your object.

It might sound intimidating but there's a ton of tutorials out there and a quick Google search of "3ds max gold coin" got me this.

    Good luck!

You should add a solid colour layer under your picture when you're editing it. If that's the picture I uploaded, use a dark grey layer because that's what I used when I was working with the picture. The reason I used dark grey is because I was assuming that you would be using the image on the CF forums (which have a dark grey background). Once you're done editing, delete the solid colour layer and save it to a PNG (PNG because it uses lossless compression and also because of the transparency). That way you can see what you're editing and you can still preserve the transparency of the image when you're done.

I like all three colours tbh. The way your profile pic looks now is pretty sweet :) If I had to choose one colour, I'd say blue. Do note however that blue is my favorite colour so there might be a little bias towards it :p
