MOSS issue, any ideas?

so let me preface with saying i have win 8.1

recently updated my moss to the most recent version, and after doing that it is changing the compatibility settings on crossfire.exe

it forces the "run as compatibility: windows 7" option. this causes my game to drop frames about every ~10 seconds or so. When i say drop frames, it goes from 200 down to 10 or 15...sits there for 2 seconds...then comes back.

If i take cf off of compatibility mode..it runs perfect (which makes sense...CF is so broken it cant handle running in comp. mode).

So does anyone have a version of moss from a couple months ago? or any ideas on how to fix?

If all else fails..ill just get win7. annoying

Tyler had the exact same problem. Windows 7 is the solution.

Talk to Snitchez or Aztckk. They both have old versions of moss. Try those?

An old version of moss might work, but I just reformatted with win7. CF has been working fine since.
