X fire isn't recording for me

i really want to be in the X-Fire's Video Capture Awards, but x fire isn't compatible with crossfire and its not recording.( i can't even chat while in game) i dont know how to fix it. Why can't i just use fraps, at least i wont have to deal with the crap im going thru now.

(by the way, im using windows 7. does that matter??)

I'm using Windows 7 also and it doesn't work. I'm guessing that it's not supported yet.

So what should i do, wait until x fire gets their lazy *** up and does a patch on Crossfire so i can finally start recording?? all i wanna do is use fraps, better quality and everything. But noooo. (erg srry im mad its just i wanna start it right now and get it done...)

hello, yup x-fire dont record at mo, also if you use fraps? i guess you will lag in game, infact it will lag at 1minit it records 1.1gig which is the cpu to some power, fraps great recorder for high professional gamin computers only, get xfire fixed soon please gms

What are you talking about? High professional gaming computers only?
I can record at 70 FPS for about an hour so... you confuse me.
Mine was a buisness computer that I bought from Best Buy for $800.

how long ago? have you tryed recordin crossfire with fraps? its cpu useage is over the average comp. if its windows 7 its comes with a better cpu im xp and many comps will lag with fraps at 25 or 30fps!

yup ive bin using xfire for a long time while playing crossfire i usualy leave it on in a chatroom with my clan friends and we use it to talk through mike and it works like a ventrilo software but it never works ingame and i checked it out on xfire.com and looked up crossfire game and it showed that no features besides mike chat is avialble for cross fire so this whole contest with xfire is a buch of bull so i hope z8games will notice whats giong on and care about it.

xfire for me is only good for recordin play and use the wma format put on youtube its the best recorder for crossfire unless a very good cpu, ram does not really matter cpu important for recordin and others eva xtrap says error code or just lags xfire was best, if you play crossfire and watch youtube vids you dont need quality you see how it is, please get xfire fixed cf team!

i have a 3.3 gig cpu and use gamebooster and im told the best cpu is 6gig thats what i call a professional gamin comp

i recorded with fraps at 120 FPS, if i do 50 FPS then fraps will limit my FPS in Crossfire too and it makes me lag, but with 120 FPS im perfectly fine. and can i use Fraps even though i would have to be using x fire recording?

Xtrap is currently blocking usage of xfire on CF. There will be a GM response rather soon on the issue, so don't worry.

CrossFire is on the X-fire game list, but it has no functions anymore, they must've removed us! :eek: and I have XP!

yup also xp it does not work on any as the mod said they look into it be fixed in a couple weeks, and ok maybe i lag frew fps set wrong but its still use the cpu alot i meen 3.3gigs in 3 mins

Xfire in game has not worked at ALL since xtrap was introduced, and that was a while ago.

is everyone just starting to notice now?

I'm shocked z8 allowed this to go up before ensuring xfire even WORKED in CF

why don't you get your lazy *** up and code it to work like what i did :P if you code Combat arms you will know how to do it for crossfire. im not telling anyone though i want to get first price :P jklol but it's alot of explaining

why in tarnation did they go and disable in-game for CF and then hold a video tournament? what are they smoking and where do I get some, its probably a better waste of money then zp
