Pro Sniper Player Come Here!

Hi,

Well, I just set my mouse at 1600 DPI. I want to know witch in-game sentivity will be good. I set it to around 64. I am not that bad but I want some advice for sentivity. I am going to test them all and take witch I am most confortable with. Same for zoom sentivity. I search a good sentivity for Quickscope easly.. and able to do a 360 also.

Thanks,

  • mouse sensitive depends on your rest (hand) and your mouse.
I think you need to play with 30-50 in the game. Try that in uk1 with nobs

My mouse is not really made for FPS but I am good with it. The mouse is the Razer Naga Epic (Chroma). I just want to have the best setting for being a good sniper player. I'll test some stuff atm for wait for some comment in here. Maybe I would find the setting that will fit to me. I downgrade to 800 fps atm.. I am going to try 16 sens and 35/25 zoom.
  • After testing some setting by myself witch I found better. I realize that sens under 25 and under 35 zoom sens is not that good for me. I mean this is too much slow. Maybe if I play more and more and more I will be better for downgrade a bit. But 16 sens and 25 zoom is not that bad tho. But under 16 it's not for me for sure. Not for the moment anyway. I was playing this game before with 1800 DPI with 64 sens and 50 in zoom before. I was not that bad I mean I always play with fast stuff. As you can see in my videos on Youtube. But fell free to post your setting I will love to take time to test them.
  • I don't change zoom sens. It sucks when you lower all.
Try 45 mouse sens and 50 zoom sens

How much DPI are you using? I start with 1800 after that I tested 1600 and I am at 800 atm. I love to test settings and see witch is the best that is fit me.

Dpi is usually set directly on your mouse.

I kinda like 1800 dpi for gaming, 3500 is a little too much for me and 450 doesn't do it (got a razer abyssus mirror). Is there a noticeable difference between 1800 and 1600 dpi? It's not that much, shouldn't be that game changing.

I was playing 1800 dpi / 5600 dpi with 64 sens and around 40 zoom.. I was not that bad as I said I love do fast kill. Because the more faster you are and good to aim. You got the kill first. Who have the better reaction time has the kill. Now I have tested the 800 dpi with around 16 sens and around 25 / 35 zoom sens. Witch I am not that bad with this setting too. For me I got more accuracy with 800 dpi and 16 sens, 25 / 35 zoom sens. I mean a little bit more for sniper and some other guns. But seriously it is pretty the same with 1800 dpi / 5600 dpi, 64 sens. I mean the accuracy for me it is pretty the same. I totally agree with you tho. 450 dpi it is too slow with 16 sens and 25 / 35 sens in zoom. I was playing today with 16 sens and 25/35 zoom first game. I did a awsome score K/D. A high rank (LIEUTENANT COLONEL 8) call me a hacker. Witch I found funny. But this means nothing, a low ranking guy can own high rank. Skills are the key of success. Thanks for the comment.

I wish you a good day,

  • I've finished the sniper intensive test (new mouse) and i'm definitivly fixed to it : Sens 0 / Zoom 15 / DPI 8200. I play mainly with AWM-S and TRG.

Now, i'm working to find the best DPI setting for the fury ^^

That's cool. I am going to test it very soon.
  • Sensitivity is somewhat preference, but pretty much every good player uses significantly lower sens than that

800 dpi, 0 sens, 29 scope sens is what I currently use (used to use 450 dpi but I'm noob now)

Yeah it is preference. Howcome, 0 sens? The cursor must not move really much rofl. Nah you are not a noob.
  • I get the Sens 0 trick on this forum, since i tryed it i just cant play anymore with the sens ON (even if its only 1 value).

The drastic loss of mouse acceleration (in CF client) is compensated with your DPI settings. The long range "target lock" is far more smoother and "natural", specially when you need to HS a sabre char with an AK (to give you an extreme outside the snipe). If you have the right mouse to do it, you must absolutly give it a try. The difference is not psychological lol

For the DPI, I'm the guy wich dont like to do wide gestures on my desktop, so i use the maximum of what the mouse offer in this specific case. I switch on the fly on a different DPI profile when i use a M4, an AK, a pistol or a sniper. But the in game settings will stay now fixed for ages.
