for the chat screen to float or something, i hate missing something because of a switching screens or being in the black market for a second then come back with al load of things that happen i dont care about, a small chat window thats always open while your not play would be useful

The other thing the chat window needs desperately is not to throw us down to the bottom of it whenever someone writes something.

Another solution to your problem could be if the chat was always registered and saved no matter where you are, so when you come out of BM/storage/etc. you can look back at what people wrote while you were doing something else.
