Greetings Soldiers!

After a very long hiatus, ESG has returned to bring the community 6 months of back-to-back (1) month long events. In partnership with Smilegate West, we will be offering a $1000 prize pool for each event. We are proud to be able to provide you guys with an expedited prize payment system, as we have reached an agreement with Smilegate West to distribute payments via PayPal. This will be done on a trial basis, as Smilegate wants to test out how those payments will work.

We are excited to welcome aboard [MOD]Zzxq as our general event administrator for CrossFire! We believe that his previous experience will bring a nice balance of fairness and professionalism to our team and bring ESG to the next level.

We would now like to direct you to our new website HERE which has some graphical portions of it still under construction. Please keep that in mind. Feel free to browse around the site and tinker with each section.

CF: Open

Sign-ups for this event are now open. All players will be required to create an account obviously. Team captains, once you create your account, you may proceed to create a team for CF Open. Creating a team under the CF Open division will automatically sign you up for this event. Your GameID when creating a team will be your CrossFire IGN. This must match your IGN exactly.

All players must make sure to add their CF in-game name to their personal profiles upon creating an account. Once you are logged in, click on My Profile and then scroll down to the bottom where there will be a space to enter your GameID/CrossFire in-game name.

Schedule and Format:

Sign-ups will run until the night of July 6th and the matches will start July 7th. We understand this is short notice, so please don't delay signing up.

Default Time for each round will be 9:00 PM EST

Teams will be broken up into divisions of 4 and will compete in a double round-robin style match up (single map, total rounds format) within their division (3 opponents, 6 games total). The Top team from each division will advance to a single elimination (Bo3 / Bo5) playoff to determine the winner of the event.

7/7 - Round 1
7/9 - Round 2
7/14 - Round 3
7/16 - Round 4
7/21 - Round 5
7/23 - Round 6

Weekend of 7/26-7/28 Playoffs and conclusion of event.

Further details will be announced closer to the time of the event next week.The anti-cheat is not available for download yet. The rules will be updated within a couple of days.
