(Updated 01/12) Cross Fire in X-Fire's Video Capture Awards

Z8Games and Xfire would like to invite you to participate in the first ever Video Capture Awards (VCA), offering you the chance to compete to create the best gameplay videos on the internet! With more than 20 skill categories, thousands of expected entries, and up to $25,000 worth of prizes from sponsors and publishers alike, Xfire is hosting an event on a scale never before seen in the PC gaming community.

This video capture extravaganza invites players from any game to upload videos and encourages machinima film makers to submit their best movies to win prizes.

The VCAs will take place from January 11th to February 22nd 2010.

The contest will also feature a "Best Cross Fire Video" category, in addition to the categories above. Cross Fire players, now is the time to show off your video-making skills to the whole world for great prizes!

Cross Fire prizes will include:

• Golden Desert Eagle
• Special Golden M4A1 - The now discontinued and ultra-rare Golden version of the popular M4A1 Assault Rifle with patterned etchings.

We are currently aware of the compatibility issue that CF has with X-Fire. This problem is currently being addressed, and we hope to have an update on when full compatibility will be enabled soon.

Please do not submit any videos that are not used with xfire as this time, as they cannot be used in this particular contest. Any videos not made with xfire will be invalid for these awards.
