crossfire client mfc has stopped working
Hello,
When I log out of CrossFire, I get this error most of the time and have to close it by clicking "Close the program". After clicking the 'X' in the upper right-hand corner and 'Exit', the game does not close by itself, so I have to spam left clicks until this appears.

If you haven't already, please try these steps to see if the issue corrects itself:
1) Uninstall the game completely, and delete Z8Games folder from your program files folder
2) Perform system cleaning (Ex. Using CCleaner)
3) Disable your Anti-Virus real-time protection
4) Re-download the newest version of the game http://crossfire.z8games.com/downloadS2.aspx
5) Install the game
6) Add CrossFire and CrossFire folder to your Anti-Virus and Firewall exceptions list
7) Close all programs running in the background
8) Re-enable your Anti-Virus real-time protection

So i open crossfire an let it sit for 5-10 minutes an my client stops working an it loads an says "Close program". ive uninstalled reinstalled Cleaned pc c cleaner ect
Please help!

Client MFC Application Error .. V2
The same error even when i re-downloaded the game and re-intalled it
can't you give a solution ?

you just made me re-download it for nothing [ my internet service in egypt here is bad ] i wait for 8 or 6 hours to download and then the same error nice crossfire
what shall i do to finish this afff ? -
Same problem
Hello, I'm from US and I have the same problem. I did all the steps posted by the Mod but the problem continues. I disabled my firewall and even created another account to no avail. A few minutes, sometimes some seconds into a match, the game freezes and the message "MFC has stopped working" appeared, and the game crashes. Moreover, the error somehow got my main account banned for 1 hour and 2 minutes (IGN: [_Jay_]). Can someone from the Z8 team look into this problem asap? Thanks in advance.
p.s.: I play Cf on pc, and my computer has windows 8.1; I have a razer blade 2015 laptop with the same operating system and the game runs just fine. -

which version of windows do you have and is it 64 bit or 32 bit ?
I used to have this error while closing CF as i have windows 8.1,64 bit but now it is fixed i think.
Try closing any software's which are running in the background like ccleaner or any game boosters etc -

Please make sure that all graphical drivers are up to date, as well as Windows updates.
Please also make sure that all other applications are closed when running CrossFire.

Sometimes tired of CF related errors,i think i should purchase a separate HDD where only windows+necessary softwares and CF are installed to play CF without any errors
